​The Under Water Series

 

Philip Ross Munro began his underwater production in 1989 and over the years has shot in locations including in the Bahamas, Canada, the US and the Canary Islands.

​

"The Underwater images are similar in many ways to lucid dreams where representations run the gamut of  emotional, spiritual and psychological reaction to aspirations, joy, fear, birth, love, death, sex and desire. There exists a parallel between intuitive creation and the Jungian Archetypes of the Collective Unconscious."
